VEX Robotics is a robotics program for elementary through university students, and a subset of Innovation First International. The VEX Robotics competitions and programs are managed by the Robotics Education and Competition Foundation (REC).[1] In April 2018, VEX Robotics Competition was named the largest robotics competition in the world by Guinness World Records

HPS-wide/ Regional Competition - Presented in partnership with FTW Robotics and Rice University, HPS Drone Race is the perfect event offering elementary, middle school and high school students an opportunity to get hands-on experience in STEM education in the form of an affordable, fast-paced game. Students will learn to safely operate a drone, work as a team, and research workforce applications of aerial robotic technology; all while having a blast!

Most countries have regional science fairs in which interested students can freely participate. Winners of these regional fairs send students to national fairs such as ISEF[5] and CWSF. National science fairs typically send winners to international fairs such as ISEF (which is a national and an international science fair) and EUCYS.

The National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) recognizes outstanding elementary students who show excellence in scholarship, responsibility, service, and leadership. NEHS members are role models in the classroom and around the school. Students in NEHS take part in fun service projects, help others, and show kindness and respect every day. Being part of NEHS helps students grow as leaders and make a positive  difference in their school and community. Membership in NEHS is a special honor that celebrates hard work, good character, and a desire to help others!

The purpose of the organization is to create a greater sense of responsibility within the student body; to strive for better student/faculty relationship; to promote unification of the student body and better representation of its ideas to the faculty and administration; to promote a positive attitude in the advancement of leadership and loyalty; to promote spirit in the school activities; as well as to uphold traditions and to set standards for generations of Harmony students to come. The objective of Student Council is to provide a service organization doing various activities within the community throughout the year, while developing student leaders. The club offers students the opportunity to expand their strategic knowledge and critical thinking skills by providing a safe, fun and friendly location and atmosphere to gather and play various board games. Playing a variety of board games will help students develop their ability to solve problems, their sense of self, and their sense of sportsmanship.
